“With undeniable charm and a hint of that ‘Demoiselles de Rochefort‘ feel Michel Legrand left us nostalgic for in the ’60s, the two young singers reinvent French-style jazz vocals, blending—between lightness and sensuality—jazz and French or international songs, swing and clever lyricism, hints of Brazilian music over crossed chords. A wonderfully enjoyable way to bring jazz lovers and the general public together, in the spirit of a Thomas Dutronc, or in their day, a Henry Salvador and his peers.”

FNAC Reviews for this album:

A wonderful debut album!! A first album I’d recommend to everyone! Alice and CĂ©cile, stay true to yourselves—best of luck and continued success with your career.

Everything I love, bravo, so much taste on this record, wonderful accompaniment. Jazz just the way I like it. I discovered this record thanks to TSF. Listening to it takes me right back to my time in N.Y.C. Bravo to the whole team.

Swinging, exciting jazz. The two sisters, Alice and CĂ©cile, sing jazz beautifully—standards (“My Favorite Things,” “Call Me”), French covers (Gainsbourg’s “L’eau Ă  la bouche”), and songs written by their musicians, including guitarist Patrick Saussois, who shines on “Going Out of My Head.” Joyful vocal jazz to put you in a good mood in the morning. The two sisters bring to mind Clementine, who’s no longer heard much in France but has built a career in Japan. Bravo!

— A third voice —
I discovered these two sisters at Le Caveau de la Huchette during an incredible improvised concert. Their debut album is a real success—their two smooth voices blend beautifully, creating a sound that’s both unique and captivating.
